Hum News

Hum News is a 24-hour Urdu news station in Pakistan. The channel is a commercial subdivision of Hum Television Network with headquarters in Islamabad. Her sibling networks are Hum TV, Hum Masala, and Hum Sitaray.

The channel's broadcast began on May 11, 2018. Hum News has bureaus in five of Pakistan's main cities - Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta, and Peshawar - and has correspondents in each of Pakistan's major metropolitan centers. With the assistance of such special correspondents, Hum News is able to report on major foreign cities.

The current daily schedule of Hum News includes mostly rolling news programming throughout the day, followed by in-depth news, instructive, and analysis-based programming at prime time.

As one of the youngest news stations in Pakistan, Hum News targets a younger audience. Its news bulletins have the greatest amount of articles on sports, entertainment, women's problems, youth concerns, and climate change. Five days each week, Hum News also provides continuous coverage of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

In addition to being the first station to air the interview with First Lady Bushra Bibi, Hum News has also aired interviews with President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Governors and Chief Ministers of Provinces, and various Federal Ministers. The programming calendar of Hum News features a wide range of informational, political, religious, and social programs.
