ARY Digital Network, the firm that also manages this channel, is the owner of this TV channel. It is the first sports channel in Pakistan, and it is also the only one, that broadcasts coverage of sporting events continuously.
The ARY Digital Network went through a process of rebranding on December 1, 2012, and this process included the introduction of the channel as a component of the entire campaign. As a result of changing its name, the television network was allowed to include more entertainment channels into its lineup, such as ARY News and ARY digital.
